The Hornet R/T models have been expertly crafted for optimal balance, handling, and control. This is achieved by strategically placing the vehicle’s various components and using lightweight materials for 50/50 even weight distribution. The stiffness of the body’s structure also aids in the superior ride quality. All 2024 Hornets have Dynamic Torque Vectoring to ensure optimized balance and stability. This works by selectively distributing the power to individual wheels for unrivaled performance.
The onboard KONI Frequency Selective Damping Suspension was manufactured to absorb shock through a spring and bypass valve, and this performance suspension delivers smooth riding even at higher speeds. There is an available Marelli® Dual-Stage Valve Suspension you can opt for that helps with cornering control in the Hornet’s Sport Mode and softens the drive when the Hornet is in Normal Mode.
Technology
The Hornet’s interior is primarily driver-focused and this is demonstrated with the large Uconnect® 5 infotainment screen that’s angled toward the driver. This screen has a wide range of customization options, from personalizing your home screen applications to creating your own unique profile so you can access all your favorite settings quickly.
